Welcome to Dumfries Wado-Kai Karate club
Dumfries Wado-Kai Karate Club teaches traditional style Wado-Ryu karate. We are supported through the membership of the S Wado Association and the Scottish Karate Governing Body.
Dumfries Wado-Kai are also one of very few clubs accredited by Dumfries and Galloway Council and the Scottish Sports Council to teach at schools and participate in the active school’s program.
The club often welcomes others to attend and provide instruction in their styles also, such as Judo and Aikido.
The club welcomes all ages from five years onward. The emphasis is for the young to have fun and the older ones to push themselves for greater fitness and improvement of technique.
Classes
Fridays – DG1 Leisure Centre 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Cost – £20 per month
Starting again 30 April 2021 (temporarily at Lochvale house until after 21 May 2021)
Tuesday – Lochvale Community Centre Georgetown – 6 pm to 7 pm (senior 7 pm-8 pm)
Starting again 27 April 20021
Cost – £5.00 per lesson or £20 -per month
